Fez Express Mobile Mediterranean, the brainchild of Sammy Salek, Bassam Akaweih, and Maya Salek, was founded in early 2011 after witnessing a rapidly flourishing "taco truck" scene in Houston. They recognized the need for a different type of culinary offering in the industry and aspired to provide Houston locals with the first and only Authentic Mediterranean food truck in the city.

Teaming up with award winning master chef Ihab Katib, they sought to create savory and mouth-watering Middle Eastern cuisine to cater to the growing demand for Mediterranean food. Ihab’s handmade signature recipes use only the finest ingredients, creating delectably authentic renditions of increasingly popular Middle Eastern dishes.

Fez Express will be rolling through the streets of Houston near all the local late night hot spots, primarily on the Washington Corridor, Midtown, and Rice Village. With anticipated growing demand, Fez Express will expand its operations to serving lunch and dinner citywide.
